 We are amongst the few countries where the government does totally nothing when it comes to investing on the youths who are our future leaders. One will toil for three to four years in campus with the hope of being great in the future,only to come out to the hush world being slapped with reality .We live in a country where education is not the key to success but connections are,we've reached a point where we cannot strive for excellence you buy your way to it.   It is high time for the Kenyan youth to ponder wisely in all the angles of our country's economic growth.Youths  play  a vital role in making positive changes in the society since they are the  backbone and pillars in building democratic successes with their unity, power, struggle and influence. Freedom for mombasa residents at last

          Freedom is here. The Kenya kwanza slogan sounded like a usual campaign strategy, until president Ruto was sworn in. On his first speech as president of the Republic of Kenya, he ordered the return of Port operations from Nakuru to Mombasa. Former president Uhuru had moved the port operations from mombasa to a dry port in Nakuru.           This drastically affected the people of mombasa economically. Loss of jobs was evident in the coastal region,  leading to increased crime ( the wakali wao syndicate) and idleness among the youth. This made a significant impact on  the economy of mombasa. toxic relationships among campus students

The negative impact of dating includes prevalence of dating violence, sexual implications and high level of disrespect among students. It is therefore recommended that students should concentrate on their studies and avoid every form of relationship. Victims of dating violence should seek medical help. Parents should monitor their children in the universities.  Stake holders in education should develop a curriculum on relationship education for institutions of learning to enable students understand the dangers associated with early relationship. The University authorities should enforce proper dress codes to reduce sexual attraction.  University staff should help inculcate moral values into the students by organizing seminars, debates, conferences and other related activities to help them build their academic potentials and resist deviant activities.

  Consequences of youth substance abuse  Young people who persistently abuse substances often experience an array of problems, including academic difficulties, health-related problems (including mental health), poor peer relationships, and involvement with the juvenile justice system. Additionally, there are consequences for family members, the community, and the entire society.  Academics  Declining grades, absenteeism from school and other activities, and increased potential for dropping out of school are problems associated with adolescent substance abuse.
